A step-by-step guide to using the “Image” button within Label Designer to place an image onto your label design.

Using Label Designer, you can upload images directly into your label design with the Image button. Included below are the steps to accomplish
this.
Please note that while it is possible to add multi-colored images to your label template, the printer is only capable of printing in the colors that you have loaded into it. The printer will do its best to print “What you see is what you get” using the colors loaded. For optimal color matching in single color, it may be best to use the Symbol Creator to convert the image into a symbol instead. Please see this guide for more information.
The following image types are supported: .bmp, .gif, .ico, .jpg, .jpeg, .mng, .pbm, .pgm, .png, .ppm, .tif, .tiff, .xbm, .xpm, .svg, .svgz
From your PC
- Open up LabelForge Pro.
- Click on Label Designer on the dashboard.

- Create a new label using the pop up prompt, and then select the Insert button. This should be selected by default.

- Select “Image” from the Insert menu.
- A pop-up Window will appear prompting you to select an image file.

- Select your image and click open, or simply double click the image you wish to use.
- Your image will now appear on the label!

From your DuraLabel ToroMax or Kodiak Printer
- Ensure you have an image file you wish to use on a USB drive, or loaded onto the printer (usually copy-pasted onto the Desktop).
- From the home screen, tap Label
- In the Label menu, tap Label Designer

- Create a new label using the pop up prompt, and then select the Insert button. This should be selected by default.

- Select “Image” from the Insert menu.
- A pop-up Window will appear prompting you to select an image file.

- Select your image and click open, or simply double click the image you wish to use.
- Your image will now appear on the label!
